Dog Training Academy (DTA) Services
From puppyhood to advanced training, we provide the guidance, structure, and support your dog needs to thrive.
When you book our services, you're investing in more than your dog's success—you're supporting your community. Every session provides an opportunity for our Dog Training Academy Apprentices to apply their skills, build confidence, foster inclusion, and grow as future trainers under professional supervision. Together, we're creating meaningful learning experiences while ensuring your dog receives outstanding care and training.
Day Training
For six sessions your dog will spend the day working one-on-one with our professional trainers through structured training sessions.
Monday - Thursday
Drop-off: 9:30 AM | Pick-up: 2:30 PM.

Private Training
Six one-hour private lessons for you and your dog. Choose a structured training program or an individualized training plan tailored to your specific goals. Work directly with a professional trainer to build skills, address challenges, and support long-term success.
Sessions are scheduled by appointment. Typical lesson times are between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM.

Group Classes
Six one-hour group training classes designed to help you and your dog build obedience, confidence, and real-world skills in a structured learning environment. Classes follow a set curriculum and provide opportunities to practice around other dogs and handlers.
Sessions are available by appointment only. Typical appointment times are available between 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM.

Pet Walking / Sitting
Choose between a 30-minute or 60-minute walk. With authorized home access, we can also provide in-home pet sitting services, including feeding, cleanup, and individualized care.
Available Monday - Thursday between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM.

Grooming
Includes a brush out, bath, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and nail trim. Designed to support your dog's comfort, cleanliness, and overall well-being while maintaining a healthy grooming routine.

Puppy Play Dates
A one-hour supervised group socialization session for fully vaccinated puppies up to 6 months of age. Offered on Saturday mornings and limited to 4–6 puppies per session, play dates are monitored by a professional trainer to encourage safe, positive interactions, confidence building, and healthy social development.

Service Dog Temperament & Skills Test
A comprehensive assessment used to determine whether a dog is a suitable candidate for service dog training. Dogs are evaluated on approximately 50 temperament and skill criteria related to confidence, stability, behavior, and overall suitability for service work.
Successful completion of the evaluation is required prior to enrollment in service dog training programs.

AKC Canine Good Citizen Test
Ideal for teams that are prepared to test for the AKC Canine Good Citizen certification. An approved AKC CGC Evaluator will administer the test and complete all required evaluation documentation. Dogs must meet AKC Canine Good Citizen testing standards to pass.

To participate in our services, all dogs must have current vaccination records on file. Required vaccinations include Rabies, DHPP, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella (required for Day Training services).
Prior to enrollment, all new clients must complete a one-hour Behavioral & Class Placement Evaluation. This assessment allows us to better understand your dog's behavior, temperament, training history, and goals so we can recommend the most appropriate services and training plan.
