AKC S.T.A.R Puppy

Service Description

A 6-week AKC-sanctioned class that teaches basic puppy manners and basic skills. This class teaches puppies a set of pre-canine good citizen behaviors throughout the six weeks. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program is all about starting your relationship with your new puppy on the right foot. The S.T.A.R. stands for Socialization, Training, Activity, and a Responsible owner. The program covers all the steps you should be taking to meet your puppy’s needs and to prepare your new pet for adulthood. At the end of the six weeks the STAR puppy test will be administered and your puppy will receive their AKC STAR puppy completion certificate. Puppies must start this class between the ages of 9 weeks and 18 weeks old.
